IT CONSULTING IN SPARE PARTS LOGISTICS

Within the framework of a consulting project ISAC has been charged with the task of supporting and supervising an existing SAP solution in terms of spare parts logistics.

Within the framework of the project the task was to support the system within an existing SAP solution for the spare parts logistics, test the value flow and to detect and clarify existing differences with the financial accounting application.

In addition, the consulting task also had the aim of creating concepts for the following change requirements together with the business departments and to document these:

• Introduction of the electronic transfer of delivery data
• Assigning delivery data to open orders
• Integration of supplier consignment stocks into the spare parts process
• Linking a "Warehouse Management System" to the IT-process

Within the framework of this project ISAC Consulting provided the following services in coordination with the customer:

• IT consulting for the application in daily business
• Support in fault analysis and repair
• Drafting Change Request concepts
• Creation of a feasibility study
• Measuring and evaluation of the system performance

5 month
