Complex reorganisation in spares

In order to increase the competitiveness of clients and to be able to create more efficient and flexible new business requirements, a reorganisation of the system landscape in spare parts logistics was envisaged.

The reason for charging us with the task was the requirements elicitation of the specialist areas of spare parts logistics and the evaluation and selection of possible and appropriate SAP-solutions.

After comprehensive testing and validation of the business processes by means of prototyping, the new solution was designed and created on the basis of the SAP New Dimension Products CRM, SCM, and ECC.

The sponsor attached great importance to achieving results and obtaining documents on a high quality level, as more service projects are planned to be based on this leading reference. The sponsor defined the logistic and operational challenges as follows:

Evaluation, specification, prototyping

ISAC Consulting was charged with the task of thoroughly evaluating the existing landscape. The business processes and requirements were recorded in a time-saving and detailed manner using the Reference Process House (RPH). On this basis, an IT blueprint was created and a system prototype developed in parallel by the IT-consulting company.
